1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Amison Sphere platform (“Platform”), operated by Amison Sphere Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
By using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
Company: Amison Sphere Limited
Platform: Website, mobile app, and services
User: Anyone using the platform
Customer: Buyer on the platform
Seller: Vendor selling goods/services
Escrow: Funds held until transaction completion
KYC: Identity verification process
Dispute: Complaint or disagreement
Fee Schedule: List of platform charges
Privacy Policy: Data handling policy
3. Platform Role
Acts as a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers
Does not own listed products
Provides escrow for secure transactions
4. Eligibility
Must be 18+ years old
Must provide valid identification
Company may suspend or reject accounts
5. KYC / AML Policy
Users may provide ID, BVN, or CAC details
Transactions may be monitored
Accounts may be frozen for suspicious activity
6. Escrow Payment Terms
Payments are held in escrow
Funds released after delivery confirmation
Disputes delay payments
Fraud may result in reversal
7. Customer Obligations
Provide correct delivery info
Review products before purchase
Avoid fraud and off-platform deals
8. Seller Obligations
Sell genuine and legal products
Deliver on time
Avoid counterfeit or misleading listings
9. Content Moderation
Content must be lawful and accurate
Company may remove listings
Prohibited: fraud, illegal content, IP violations
10. Fees and Settlement
Fees are shown before transactions
Payments released after confirmation
Delays may occur during disputes
11. Refunds
Allowed for defective or incorrect items
Fraudulent claims may be rejected
Protected under Nigerian consumer law
12. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not liable for seller misconduct, user misuse, or indirect damages, except where required by Nigerian law.
13. Indemnity
Users agree to cover losses caused by their violations or misconduct.
14. Account Suspension
Accounts may be suspended for fraud or violations
Funds may be withheld if necessary
15. Data Protection
Data is handled according to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). Users consent to data processing via the Privacy Policy.
16. Dispute Resolution
Internal resolution within 5–7 days
Mediation via Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse
Final jurisdiction: Nigerian courts
17. Amendments
Terms may change anytime
Users will be notified
Continued use = acceptance
18. Termination
Users may close accounts anytime
Company may terminate for violations
19. Force Majeure
No liability for delays caused by events beyond control (e.g. disasters, strikes, pandemics).
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
21. Acceptance
By using the Platform, you accept these Terms and agree to electronic contract validity.
